Get Super Soft Body Skin - The DIY Way
I’ve written quite a few articles with DIY tips to make the skin on your face and neck look and feel its best. Here are some quick ways to treat your body well too!
Some super skin softeners:
Olive oil, lemon and salt scrub. It makes a fabulous body scrub to leave your skin moisturized and soft. Mix the juice from one lemon with five tablespoons of sea salt and one tablespoon of olive oil.
Milk and honey bath. Run a warm bath, add about half a liter of milk, three tablespoons of honey (this amount won’t make you sticky) and open a vitamin E capsule and add it to the water.
Coconut oil bath. Add a few tablespoons of organic coconut oil to a warm bath to soften skin.
Turmeric and coconut oil to lighten scars. Mix one tablespoon of turmeric powder with enough coconut oil to make a paste. Apply it to the affected areas daily.
Coconut oil cleanser. I haven’t tried this yet, so I have no rating but felt the article was unfinished without one. I will try it soon. Mix three tablespoons liquid castille soap, three tablespoons raw honey and two tablespoons of coconut or almond oil.
Our skin is all different. What works for me and others, might not work for you, but these are easy and inexpensive, so it doesn’t hurt to see if they help. It will take some time to notice a difference, but if you create a routine and stick with it, you should see some.
Note: Try them on a small patch of skin first to see if you have any kind of allergic reaction to them.
